Hi, I'm Tabby, and I have rediscovered the joys of sewing. It started with a friend teaching me how to make sock monkeys, then grew when I discovered John Murphy's Stupid Sock Creatures.
I moved away from socks for a while after finding little felt cake kits at a dollar store, but have recently decided to continue making sock monkeys and monsters. Of course, I still need to get their eyes on and post more pictures, but I'll get there eventually. :p

Gosh, I need to get more pictures posted.
I spent the last 4 days making 3 more sock monsters, plus I have several other monsters and monkeys that I've made since I last posted. Mind you, a good majority of them don't have eyes yet due to my laziness, but I have far too many that I need to photograph and add here.
Let this be a note to myself:

Sock Critters!

I recently discovered the joys of making sock monkeys, thanks to a close friend. I was satisfied with making these cuddly critters for a while, until I discovered John Murphy's Stupid Creatures. Now I have the dilema of not having enough socks, and not being sure what to do with the ones that I do have, whether to save them for monkeys, or to experiment with monsters.
Regardless, I now have something to photograph other than my cat (yay!), which means more interesting pictures for you guys to look at. Yippee! X3
